You cannot blame him for not trying to play this year. The 24 year old has been already has seen three doctors and all have said you need season ending knee surgery to save your career.
“I can’t imagine not playing football this year,”I really can’t. That’s what this is all about. I want to see that I can play … I haven’t made my decision yet, but I am going to do everything I can to play. That’s what this is all about.”
Shawn Merriman has had more sacks than any defensive player since 2005. Merriman has 39.5 sacks he just needs four more to tie all time sack leader for the Chargers Leroy Jones. Leroy Jones is 7th all time in NFL history.

LaDainian Tomlinson running back for the San Diego Chargers has a sprained MCL that will take him at least 6 weeks to heal. Therefore he will not play in the pro bowl Tomlinson hurt his knee against the Colts and only ran the ball 3 times. People such as myself questioned his heart but I guess this knee injury tell is all get better LaDainian, but you could’ve still cheered your team on.

If you would’ve told the San Diego Chargers that Tom Brady will throw three interceptions and the Patriots will only score 21 points the Chargers would’ve have signed for that, but the problem is that happened you as the Chargers couldn’t take advantage of the opportunity being in the red zone sevral times. The biggest play of the game was made by the oldest player on the field in the 3rd quarter the Chargers was at the 6 yard line on a 3rd and 1 and Mr. 39 year old former Charger legend Junior Seau put a hit on Micheal Turner and stop the scoring drive cold and the Chargers had to settle for a field goal. The Chargers never scored a touchdown while the Patriots eventhough they wasn’t light’s out on the offense side of the ball did put the ball in the end zone three times to give them there 21 points. When we last saw these two teams play each other, the Colts were beaten by the Pats the week before, could only suit up 44 out of 53 players, and yet the lost 23-21. A.Vinatieri missesd a chip shot and the end game interview we saw a rather displeased L.Tomlinson state the obvious…..”we got lucky”. Now here we are and these teams will give us a encore. The Colts are healthy and are ready to defend their title. The spotlight is on the Chargers now. The Bolts fired M.Schottenhimer (3rd all-time wins) for N.Turner because the GM did’nt like him. Oh wait he could’nt win in the playoffs thats it. The media ripped them for the moves and here they are. The key for the Bolts will be L.T.! Clock management will be paramount. the Bolts did not use L.T. in the second half of the first meeting and it showed as P.Manning threw for 300+ yards and 6 picks and the Bolts got lucky. By the way was it just me or did the Colts 2nd string looked pretty damn good against the Titans in the season finale? This game is going to get UGLY early if L.T. does not play well. Bolts D held J.Addai to 56 yrds, and picked off Peyton 6 times the first meeting. They will have to do it again if they want to win this game. *NOTE* NORV USE L.T. ALL GAME OR YOU WILL LOSE!!!!!!!!

Time waits for no one. You can now say that about that the 2007
Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens against the Cleveland Browns looked old and worn out, the big time defense that use to scare everyone in the NFL is now long gone.
San Diego Chargers is now what you have to say is damn if I can turn back the hands of time. The Chargers are no longer must see TV a matter of fact how smart does Eli Manning look for not going to this organization, they’re a damn disgrace.
Last but not least the Chicago Bears what the hell is going on? You replace sexy Rexy with Sleazy Griese who is a horrible in NFL Quarter Back. Why didn’t they make a run at Jeff Garcia? Who by the way is now 3-1 and
Tampa
Bay is now in 1
st place.
