Deuce or Die

Deuce McAllister

The news just keeps getting worse for the New Orleans Saints( my pick for the Super Bowl).  Not only are they 0-3 but now they will be without tailback Deuce Mcallister, for the season, as he tore his ACL in his knee in last nights loss to the Titans 31-14.  Without Deuce the Saints are without their feature back and now must ask Reggie Bush to become that.  In the first three games of the season he has shown that he isn’t ready to handle it.  More importantly how will the Saints handle being without their bruising back?  Who knows in a season that seems to be already lost it just got worse.  I hope I don’t injure my knee jumping off this bandwagon. Just kidding I will ride my pick all the way to the finish. Plenty of seats available.

Weekend Review-NFL

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007 |

Well Week 2 of the NFL season has brought us some real surprises.  The Texans, Lions, Redskins, Packers, and 49ers are all 2-0.  On the other end of the spectrum the Saints, Giants, Eagles, Jets, and Chiefs all playoff teams from a year ago are all 0-2.  Then you have your expected being the Colts and Patriots are both undefeated.  Also what I found about this week is that I don’t really know a whole lot about pro football. (more…)

Back 2 the Brown Paper Bags Days!!!

Sunday, September 16th, 2007 |

The saints are now 0-2 and is it time to get the brown paper bags?  You remember them times don’t you out of 38 years as a franchise you only have seven wining seasons.  After having a remarkable 2006 season and you has been picked by a lot of experts to not only win the NFC south but also was the pick to go to the super bowl.  If the first two games are any indication of what the Saints are going to be in 2007.  I will tell my  Louisiana fans to get those brown paper bags on and put them back on your head.

Saints at Chiefs Game Story

I know it was just the Preseason but did you see the freight train known as the Saint offense last night. WOW!!!!!!!!!! I mean what a display of pure football bliss this side of Indy. Drew Brees is ready to move right pass Donovan McNabb as the best quarterback in the NFC. This man goes 17 of 19 for 182 yards and 1td. Reggie Bush (my main man) 6 carries for 51 yards and the real cog that is going to make this train go Duece Mcallister did nothing. Do not be surprised by the Saints D this year. They will be the reason for their SuperBowl appearance. So I’m sure there are seats available on the bandwagon but unlike the Georgia Dome this year they are filling fast.
