Just this evening, one of email buddies shared with me one of Queen Latifah’s songs, “I Know Where I’ve Been “. The song comes from the musical turned movie Hairspray.
Even before then, the Queen has been bending our ears to classic rhymes, and now she soothes your soul with timeless melodies. Whenever we hear these songs, we reminisce on where we were.
For me “ I know Where I’ve Been” only helps me to take each step closer into my future. Someone once told me that if you don’t know where you come from; you don’t know where you are going…

The Bet Hip Hop Awards was shown this Saturday and it wasn’t too bad. Showing love to blast master KRS-ONE and understanding he is one of the best to ever do it was a good look. I like the new generation with LiLWayne and T.I etc, but they got some ways to go to touch the 5 best Mc’s of all-tme.
