The NFL story of the year has to the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons who lost there starting quarterback and also had there head coach walk out them all in the same season. And let’s also add to that they still were having issues on selling out the dome. Yesterday might’ve changed the luck of this franchise called the Atlanta Falcons. But yesterday when Kyle Orton quarterback hit Rashard Davis from 17 yards out with only seconds left in the game. The thought went through every Falcon and NFL fan “SAME OLE FALCONS”. But not this time as rookie quarterback Matt Ryan hit Micheal Jenkins. That set up a 48 yard field goal by Jason Elam who hit the winning field goal to give the Falcons a win that will be talked about for a long time. “I think this is going to do great things for our confidence and chemistry,” Elam said. “Hopefully we can do something pretty special down the stretch.” Matt Ryan had this to say about yesterday’s game.”I’ve been in some wild games,” said rookie quarterback “but I think this one trumps them all.”Mike Smith first year head coach had this to say”That is one of the most exciting games I’ve ever been in,” first-year Atlanta coach “There were a lot of ebbs and flows.” The Falcons are now 4-2 and now have a bye this week. I don’t know if the Falcons are going to make the playoffs but they’re now after six weeks in the season flying high.

Coming into yesterday’s game rookie Matt Ryan didn’t look good on the road. Ryan lost to Tampa and Carolina. Ryan looked as much as 1st year starter than ever. But yesterday in Lambeau Field. Ryan turned the corner and was able to do almost the unthinkable and that’s lead the Falcons to a victory over the Packers. Ryan was 16/26 with 194 yards and 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. The spark for the Falcons in the passing game was Roddy White. White 8 catches for 122 yards and 1 touchdown. And 1st year full starter Micheal Turner 26 carriers for 121 yards and 1 touchdown. Also kudos to John Abrham on the defensive side of the ball for the Falcons. Abrham was all over the place. Abrham had 6 tackles and 1 sack. Micheal Boley the lineback for the Falcons had a interception also had 8 tackles as well. The Falcons are now after 5 weeks in the season is 3-2. And have a big game at home taking on the Bears who also sit at 3-2. The Falcons snap a 5 game losing streak on the road that includes last season.

All you bustas that said” WE DON’T NEED MIKE”. Well will you take a look at your home stadium now. We all now the history of this story but it pains me that guys like Adam Jones formely Pacman get to comeback and play. And Leonard Little for the Rams to still have a job in the NFL. It just off the chain how Vick who lost 137 million can’t be released and get back in the NFL. Now you hear Arthur Blank owner of the Falcons all on the radio telling eveyone. “$10.00 off on the 1st regular season game.” How ironic that there was a time when this Falcon franchise had a 50,000 waiting list. Now it’s been reduce to $10.00 off or being blacked out on t.v. no call it what it really is the VICK OUT.

The Atlanta Falcons have finally opened the jail doors and let Warrick Dunn out. Dunn asked for the Falcons to let him go, and Monday they did. The former 3-time Pro Bowler is reportedly drawing interest now from the Teaxans and Lions. Dunn followed up 3 straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons in Atlanta by running for only 710 yards in 2007. The versatile back did catch 37 balls for 238 yards however, and could still be a good third-down guy for someone.

With the signing of Micheal Turner it seems the Falcons are now turning their attention to Glenn Dorsey in the draft. Now myself what Turner got from the Falcons is a lot for a back that willnot carry the ball 300 plus times in a season. With that said the move shows the Falcon organization is trying to move in the right direction. With the third pick in the draft Dorsey looks to be right there for the Falcons to take. Now the most pressing need is to fix the offensive line. Whether it is Joey Harrington or Chris Redman the o-line needs to be rebuilt. All in all I like the way the Falcons are going. Now Mr. Blank you need to stay in the luxury boxes and off the sideline and everything will be fine. Again I say Falcon fans stay patient good things will come.

Micheal Turner will now be the permier back for the Atlanta Falcons. The deal with the Falcons 6 year 34 million deal and 15 million guaranteed. Turner has been a back up for LaDainan Thomlinson but now all eyes on Turner to help bring the Falcons back to becoming NFC south champions.
“We are pleased to be able to add a very talented running back and a player who has produced at a high level in this League when given the opportunity,” Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said. “We think he’s ready to take the next step and have a more prominent role in an offense and we are happy he decided that opportunity is going to be here in Atlanta.” Now that Turner is with the Falcons this means two things that Warrick Dunn will be gone and no Darren McFadden. Matt Ryan will be the No. 3 draft pick by the Falcons unless maybe the Falcons trade the pick but more than likely Matt Ryan will be the new Falcon.
