Rich Rodriguez finalized a deal to become the next head coach for Michigan Wolvereines. The deal ended a month long search and finally put to rest speculation about Les Miles leaving Baton Rouge for the “Big House”. Now Rodriguez leaves the Mountaineers after losing to rival Pitt leaving them on the outside looking in at the National Championship. Rodriguez leaves a team that had the making of a team that could do some damage next year. (more…)

Because of the way this past Saturday ended up the BCS has a big mess. Before Missouri lost and West Virginia decided it couldn’t handle prosperity the matchups for the bowls don’t look that appealing. Now you know I am not an advocate for a playoff or anything I’m just telling it like it is. Let take a look at the matchups: (more…)

Alright the votes are in and we have our participants in the BCS Championship game. Before I tell you who it is (like you don’t already know) let’s review shall we. The SEC champions are the Les Miles led LSU Tigers, yes the Miles’ Tigers. If you are shocked so am I. As the day started I reported (wrong so far) on the Saturday edition of the Sidelineshow.com that Miles had accepted the job at Michigan and he was taking Georgia Tech D-Coordinator Jon Tenuta with him. OK now West Virginia loss to Pitt 13-9. Pitt lead by head coach Dave Wanstead who is 4-7 this season beat the No. 2 ranked team in there own home. Missouri the best team in college football right?? According to the CPU polls/Coaching/BCS etc!! Got there ass whip in the Big 12 championship by Oklahoma 38-17. I mean at times in this game all the Sooners was doing was just run,run and run the ball down the Missouri aka missery didn’t look like they can compete on a high level. Now the question is who is going to get screwed out of playing in the National Championship?? My guess is GA Bulldogs and LSU and the GREAT Les Miles will be back in the National Championship will because of Less Miles coaching get there ass stomped in by The Ohio State. I have one question do you think any of these teams in the National Championship can beat USC?? Yeah we don’t need a playoff!!!

Bob Stoops, Urban Meyer, Rich Rodriguez, Mack Brown, Greg Schiano, Tommy Bowden all needed the pink stuff. After a crazy weekend in college football I’m not going to lie I needed some too. My beloved Gators lost on a last second fieldgoal to the Auburn Tigers 20-17. Stoops troops, the Oklahoma Sooners, fell on the road to the Colorado Buffaloes 27-24 on a last second fieldgoal as well. Rodriguez’s gang, West Virginia Mountaineers, got it handed to them on Friday night by the now sixth ranked South Florida Bulls 21-13. (more…)
