Arenas will be a Wizards for a while.  Gilbert Arenas  has signed for 6 season worth 111 million.  Arenas was reportedly going for the mas deal for $127 million.

“I’m basically giving back $16 million,” Arenas told the Washington Times. “This is in line with what I’ve been saying the whole time. You see players take max deals and they financially bind their teams. I don’t wanna be one of those players and three years down the road your team is strapped and can’t do anything about it.”  Arenas averaged 22 points 5 assist and 4 rebounds. 

“It’s a relief,” Arenas told the Washington Times. “It was a burden at the same time. Your whole city is depending on you, wondering if you’re going to make the right decision. I’m a franchise player and sometimes franchise players need to make franchise decisions.”

The Washington Wizards wanted the Cleveland Cavaliers before the playoffs started. Well you know old saying be careful what you ask for you might just get it.  The Wizards this series pulled all type of stunts to win this series they foul Lebron talked about James during interviews calling him a ” cry baby, soft .”  Now one of the words that the Wizards can add to Lebron James in name calling is when it counts James is he’s the best.  For the game the Cavs shot almost 50% for the night at 40-81 from the floor and 11-24 at three point range.  James had a triple double 27 points 13 rebounds and 13 Assist.  In all there were 4 players in double figures for the Cavs.  As for the Wizards all the talk couldn’t and stupid flagrant foul couldn’t help them.  The Wizards were 31-78 from the floor at 39% Daniels of the Wizards had this to say.”Three times in a row. It’s tough,” Washington’s Antonio Daniels said. “But who knows what happens if we have a healthy team? A healthy Gilbert Arenas? If we had Darius Songaila for Game 6 — who knows what happens?” The Cavs Lebron James had this to say about the win”Cleveland is advancing. We won the series 4-2. That speaks louder than me saying anything about the fans here, anything about DeShawn Stevenson,” James said, referring to the Wizards guard who called him overrated. “Cleveland is advancing. That’s all that matters.” Next up for the Cavs the Celtics or Hawks.

The series between the Cavs and the Wizards should’ve been one of the good series of the NBA playoffs of the season but the things that the Wizards have done to flat out hurt on Lebron James is a disgrace.  I mean it’s gotten real out of hand with Brandon Heywood pushing James in the air DeShawn Stevenson slapping James across the head while trying to make a shot and now last night a late punch in the face by Darius Songaila.  The head coach of the Wizards Eddie Jordan has just let the thugs run the team instead of letting them know this is still professional basketball and you still representing the league.  Charles Barkley says is every night ” The Wizards are stepping over the line with how they’re playing basketball.”  Reggie Miller used to always bother my Knicks but it wasn’t in the poor taste these “THUGS” the Washington Wizards are handling themselves.  WIZARDS GROW UP AND PLAY BASKETBALL NOT JAIL BALL.

The toughest thing to do in any seven game series is to close a team out.  The Cavs had a chance tonight to finally get rid of the pain in the neck Washington Wizards.  The Wizards who in this series have had flagrant fouls called on them made fun of Lebron James and James has even got music icon Jay z involved with a song called whistle blow where Jay z is making fun of the Washington Wizards DeShawn Stevenson but at the end of the day it’s just plain basketball and the Cavs try to get a win to move on and the Wizards needed a win to get back to Washington for a game 6. The Cleveland Cavaliers just stepped one game closer to knocking out the Washington Wizards by beating them 100-97.  DeShawn Stevenson still has not learned yet.  After calling Lebron James over-rated, James came back with a comment comparing Stevenson to Soulja Boy.  Soulja Boy was not to happy about the comment and he showed up to Game 3 where the Wizards killed the Cavs by 36 pts.  Well the drama continues now Jay-Z aka Jigga has made a diss song about Stevenson.  The song was played in a D.C. night club this weekend and Stevenson only could say one thing about that “Ballin’!”  Stevenson said before tipoff ” He’s worth $500 million, and he’s writing songs about me.”
