The Washington Redskins might be the story of the NFL season. A team that in it’s 1st week looked so bad that your’s truly had them labeled as the worse looking offense in the NFL. Since then the Redskins have beaten the Saints, Cardinals, Cowboys and now add the Eagles. In its all due to the running attack lead by Clinton Portis. Portis rushed for 145 yards on 29 carriers and 1 touchdown. By doing that help the Redskins win in time keep with the ball. The Redskins for the entire game had the 35 plus minutes and the Eagles had for 25. The Eagles who jumped out to a 14-0 lead seemed to have everything click until Westbrook who was already injuried had a rib injury in the game and later on it was diagnose as two broken ribs. The Eagles just couldn’t get nothing going on the offensive side of the ball. They only has a team rushed for only 58 yards. McNabb wasn’t bad 17/29 for 196 and no touchdowns. The RedSkins defense shut out the Eagles in the second half thats when Jason Cambell stayed steady and managed this game for the Redskins. Cambell went 16/29 for 176 no touchdowns and had no interceptions. This is the fourth game in a row that Cambell did not throw a interception. But Randell El his wide reciver threw one. On a end and around Randell hit Chris Cooley the Tight End from 18 yards out and the Redskins rolled from there to win the game. The Redskins for the rest of the season now can play all there NFC East teams at home. They’ve completed there run for road games in there own division. And they went 3-1.

Just a few weeks ago yours truly had the Redskins listed as one of the worst teams in football. Due to the head coach Jim Zorn. Zorn game 1 of the season against the Giants had the Redskins not on the same page. This team didn’t believe in Zorn and there were talks of having Jason Campbell benched. Three weeks later Zorn and the Redskins maybe the of the NFL. Zorn yesterday had his team ready to play and had Terrell Owens o f the Cowboys maintain. And Marion Barber of the Cowboys only got to run the football 8 times. This really took the explosive Cowboys out of there normal high scoring pass happy team look ordinary and less explosive. Also you seen a lot of false starts and the secondary blown coverages. Wade Phillips has got keys to a Bentley but if he doesn’t take care of it he will run it smack into a wall. In other words get your foot and put in your team ASS.

Joe Gibbs retires and now the coordinators are also gone. Greg Williams and Al Sanders are no longer part of the Washington RedSkins coaching staff. The RedSkins who last season made a outstanding run to get in the playoffs seemed to have everything in place eventhough Gibbs retired. Now with Gibbs and the rest of the coaching staff gone the RedSkins who looked to be on the right track now seems to be franchise not knowing what is the direction they’re going to take?
“The process of selecting a new head coach continues, although no hire is planned until after the Super Bowl so as not to distract from the championship game as well as to keep open all our options,” Dan Snyder owner of the RedSkins !!!
