METS OUT OF 1ST PLACE- NATIONALS 1 METS 0!!

It is the month of September and the Mets are doing the back slide again.  Last season in the biggest collaspe in MLB history.  The New York Mets had a 7 game lead with 17 to play and by the end of it all.  They not only lost the division but they didn’t even make the playoffs.  Last night the Mets went to take on the last place Nationals.  And the Nationals came out on top.  The huge reason for the Nationals win, was the Mets 3,4 and 5 hitters not producing.  The big hitters for the Mets went a horrible 1-12 and with did not get the job done.”We’ve got to dig down deep,”This is what makes it fun. You’ve got, what, 12, 13 games left and that’s going to decide the season? David Wright you better come out on top or at least make the playoffs.  If not the fans at Shea will be on fire and it might look like a brand new Mets team in the 2009 season.

Showing Aces-Mets 7 Nationals 2!!!

The Ace of the staff pitched a good solid game last night.  Santana pitched a total of 98 ptiches Santana went 7 innings gave up two hits and two runs  Santana for the young season is 3-2 with a 3.12 ERA. with 32 strike outs.  Santana at bat hit two doubles “He should have had the cycle,” Randolph said. “He would have really earned his money then.”"It’s just one of those days where everything works out for you,”   The two hits were the second time in Santana career where he done this the first time when he was a Minnesota Twins and did to the New York Mets.
