Heisman candidate Knowshon Marino who last season for the Georgia Bulldogs rushed for 1334 and 14 TD’S. But to add to the awesome stats this one stands out the best on 248 attemps, Marino did not fumble the football not one time. Now to add to this guy already talented background. How about special teams kick returner. There are reports that have been coming out of Athens that Marino might be returning kicks. Marino might not only be the best running back in NCAA but also add special teams. The one thing that we all must remeber is that Marino is only a sophmore. But there is talk if Marino has the break out season that this could be his last season at Georgia.

Beloved UGA Mascot Dies

The University of Georgia’s famous mascot, Uga VI, has died of congestive heart failure. The beloved Bulldog was 9-year-old and he has been the mascot since 1999. You could see him on the sidelines of every game with the letter “G” on the front of his jersey. The picture above shows Uga on the field during the game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Oklahoma State Cowboys on September 1, 2007 at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia. For those who are UGA fans this is a very sad day.
