I Need Some R & R-Memphis 78 UCLA 63 !!!

The Memphis Tigers was the team to come out of conference USA and some of things that were talked about this team were they do not play in a strong conference and when it counts they won’t be able to make free throws in the tournament which will cost the Tigers to not make it far well look at them now on Monday night the Tigers are a game away from being arguably one of the most talented team to win a National Championship. Battle of Unbeatens

The UCLA women’s basketball team came up short in their lost to No. 3 Maryland 79-75  Sunday afternoon.  The Terrapins needed a late 14-0 run to improve to 8-0 on the season, while UCLA fell to 3-1 on the year.  Maryland used great shooting to jump to 35-28 lead at the break after enjoying as much as a 13-point cushion earlier in the half.

Local Standouts Sign With UCLA

If you were listen to the show last night and I know that you were, here is the two new standouts that I talked about making their way to UCLA giving them the No. 12-rated class in the nation. UCLA head women’s basketball coach Kathy Oliver announced the signing of two highly-regarded local standouts 5-11 guard Atonye Nyingifa of Torrance, CA (Redondo Union HS) and 5-10 guard Rebekah Gardner of Fontana, CA (Ayala HS). Nyingifa and Gardner will enter UCLA in the fall of 2008 and become members of the 2008-09 Bruin team.
