Finally the ax has drop on Bowden. The Clemson Tigers who was supposed to not just win the ACC but also maybe in the talk for a National Championship has been let go. Reports are coming in that with the disapointing start to the season highlighted by the embrassment of the Alabma game. Bowden has the Tigers at 3-3 and just couldn’t be kept no more. Bob Stoops, Urban Meyer, Rich Rodriguez, Mack Brown, Greg Schiano, Tommy Bowden all needed the pink stuff. After a crazy weekend in college football I’m not going to lie I needed some too. My beloved Gators lost on a last second fieldgoal to the Auburn Tigers 20-17. Stoops troops, the Oklahoma Sooners, fell on the road to the Colorado Buffaloes 27-24 on a last second fieldgoal as well. Rodriguez’s gang, West Virginia Mountaineers, got it handed to them on Friday night by the now sixth ranked South Florida Bulls 21-13. (more…)
