Jerry Reese the New York Giants General Manager is the first African American GM to win a Super Bowl. Reese help put this young talent together Aaron Ross all the way to the kicker Lawrence Tynes. This story of him being the 1st black GM is important maybe we can get more minorites a chance to be in upper management. If I am a NFL owner I really need to be more open minded in my selection in putting together my ownership. Last season we had two black head coaches in the Super Bowl and this season the 1st black General Manager to win a Super Bowl. I will at least before I thank of hiring someone to run my team at least take deep consideration in looking at a minority. Happy Black History Month !!!
The No. 1 team for 18 games in the NFL is now as history will say one of the biggest chokers. The New England Patriots who scored 589 points to set and NFL record Tom Brady broke the NFL TD record who threw for 50 touchdowns. Randy Moss who caught 23 touchdowns that was a record and how can we forget this team went 18-0. The Patriots this season got wins on the road at Dallas,Colts and against the Giants. Therefore everything seemed to be in place Wes Welker was and outstanding reciver having a pro bowl year. The defense who was fired up by Junior Seau 39 years old and looked like he was going to finally get a Championship ring. The story was set,but playing against the road warriors like the New York Giants it just wasn’t in the cards for the New England Patriots. History will say this Patriots team came up short no they just flat out ran into a team who was on a roll, so histoy will be cruel but real talk this New England Patriots team is a DAMN GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM..
