There are a ton of really good matchups this week. The surprising thing is there is only one that involves the Top 25. Cal has dropped out of the rankings so there matchup with USC doesn’t qualify, and South Carolina has lost it’s last three games making the matchup with Florida not mean as much. Without a doubt for the last decade the SEC has been considered the most competitive. Every Saturday if you don’t bring your “A” game anyone can be beaten. In that same time span the SouthEastern Conference has averaged over two million people in attendance each year. (more…)

People are going to point their finger at Heisman hopeful Andre Woodson for the lost against University of South Carolina last night and the way I see it is that he is not all to blame. And I know what you are saying ”Look at the two lost fumbles, both by the way returned for touchdowns. Also look at the unfortunate interception toss at the opponents’ goal line”, but the bottom line is that Kentucky lost 38-23 in a nationally televised game. Its a shame really, because it wasn’t the Kentucky QB’s fault. Not all of it.
