The date was July 30th 2007. And Kevin Mchale and Danny Ainge made the trade. The Celtics got Kevin Garnett and the Minnesota got Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, Al Jefferson, Theo Ratliff, Sebastian Telfair, a 2009 first round draft pick. The rest as they is history. Garnett came to the Lakers along with Ray Allen and Paul Pierce was already there and the union was made. So last nights game 6 in Boston, the Lakers were not only going up against a tough Celtics team, But they had to beat three hall fame players. (more…)

The Boston Celitcs during this post season run was not good on the road. They lost to the Hawks, Cavaliers three times in each series. But in the NBA Eastern Finals the Celtics started to turn it around. By winning two road games on the road. And the Boston Celtics who throughout the regular season posted the best NBA road record at 31-10. But the Celtics coming into this NBA Finals. Was considred by many and your’s truly to be old and not deep. Plus the Lakers coming out of the tough West and be the former Champs the Spurs in five. The Lakers looked unstoppable. My man Doc Rivers. I got mad love for you. But you blew game 3. There were four things in this game you missed.
4. When Paul Pierce got his 5th foul early in the 4th quarter keep him in the game. Doc you over coaching on that one. You should’ve trust Paul Pierce enough to not get a 6th called on him.
3. Speak to Kevin Garnett. I know this is really being a jerk about this, but tell Garnett to stop shooting jumpers and take the”DAMN” ball to the hole . GaSol is soft and Garnett would’ve been more effective. (more…)

Ray Allen has had a terrible post season. Allen who was brought to Boston to win a championship has not been the reason why the Celtics had made it this far. Allen some points in the post season looked old and flat out wasn’t a factor on the Celtics, but last night Ray Allen’s performance might’ve saved the Celtics season. (more…)

Game 2 the Boston Celtics were trying to win there 10th post season game in a row and also take a 2-0 lead in Eastern Conference Finals. The Boston Celtics in threre 9 wins at home have kept the visitors under 100 points. The first two teams that the Boston Celtics faced, do not pack the same punch as the Detriot Pistons. Detriot comes in battle tested and loves playing on the road and is ready to break the 9 post game home winning streak of the Celtics. (more…)
