The Lakers have done it again!!!  They won their 10th straight victory.  Everyone on this team is coming together and it really show that they are the No.1 team in the West.  Jordan Farmer scored a career-high 24 pts and that pinky is not a problem for Kobe Bryant who dropped 21 on the very chilli Heat as the Lakers won 106-88.  Pau Gasol added 13pts and 11rebounds.  The Heat still stand as the worst team in the NBA with a record of 10-45 the Lakers on the other hand are leading the West with a record of 41-17.  So we can all Pinky-Swear that the Lakers will be in the Finals this year.

If you ask any NBA fan who is the best in the NBA to the heart they will have to say the purple and gold the Los Angeles Lakers.  The Lakers have been playing outstanding basketball on the recent road trip they took befor the All Star game break they went 7-2 and pick up Pau GaSol and have been on fire ever since.    The Lakers was going for the 8th win a row and that was no problem as the Bryant, GaSol show took over the game.  Bryant had a double double 21 points and 10 Assit.  GaSol lead all scores with 22 and Lamar Odom had 19 points with 11 rebounds.  The third quarter bought the most drama up by 31 in favor of the Lakers.  Bryant thought he was fouled and went off causing him to get thrown out of the game”I’m disappointed, but I’m not going to comment on the official. I don’t want to get fined anymore,” Bryant said. “Watch the replay.” The Lakers with the win sit at top of the Western Conference with a record of  39-17.

The Lakers have played seven out of their nine road games and during the seven games there is something that is going around from city to city.  In just about every city, in every arena the sounds of MVP fill the air.  The chants are not for the star player on the home team but its for the star player on the away team.  That star is Kobe Bryant.  He should be use to hearing these chants but it never gets old for this front runner for this years MVP award.  I said on the show that Lebron may be this years MVP, just based on the way he has been playing and also the number of points he is putting up night after night.  I’m sorry for even thinking that because Kobe has had an outstanding season so far.  He is averaging 27 pts, he is putting up numerous triple doubles and double-doubles.  Also just look at the way he shut down Dwayne Wade last night.  He forced Wade to 9 turnovers (yes, nine) and he was also called on traveling.  Kobe is a machine and he is really taking this team to the next level.  With Pau Gasol now on the team they have became a major force in the West.  So with that said to all the Lakers fans in all the cities around the world keep chanting the letters MVP maybe this year they will get it right.
