How Old are You?

That is the question posed to Miguel Tejada on ESPN’s news magazine show E:60. His answer was 31. The truth however was 33. Now I don’t see the big deal we are talking about only two years. I guess when you lie on television it is a big deal. In what alot of people say is something that many Latin American players have done I am not sure why Tejada was singled out. Someone needs to tell me how old Julio Franco is. I say 60 what about you? For Tejada I guess age discrepancy is better than the whole steroid issue. Count your blessings. Tejada would later say ” I was a poor kid who wanted to sign”.

Vick Stands Up!!!

Vick officially plead guilty today to dog fighting. Vick in a very sorrowful voice apologized to all the young fans that look up to him and also stated that he wants to be an example to the kids on what not to do. “We all make mistakes, bad judgment and bad decisions.” Vick apologizes also to Author Blank, Roger Goodell and the Atlanta Falcons.  “I will reedem myself, I have to.” Let the healing process begin.?

Drugs Found in Benoit’s Body

Steroids and other drugs were found in former pro wrestler Chris Benoit.  Drugs were also found in the bodies of his wife Nancy and 7-year-old son Daiel.  In Benoit’s body the drugs were Xanax and hydrocodone, but his alcohol level was negative.  In his wife the same but she also had hydromporphone and his son just Xanax.  Xanax is an anti-anxiety drug and hydrocodone is a painkiller.

AND THE WINNER IS…..

On July 15th at 9pm the 2007 Espy Awards will take place. It will be hosted by Lebron James and Jimmy Kimmell. Some of the categories include Best Male Athlete were Lebron James, Tiger Woods, Peyton Manning, Roger Federer and Ladainian Tomlinson are all nominated for this award. Also Best Game, Best Play were Darrelle Revis’ 73-yard return is up and also Best Upset. In that category you have the Florida Gators win against the Ohio State Buckeyes.  Also look for Best Female Athlete (I think Candace Parker will win), Best Coach and both Florida Gators Men’s Basketball and Football are in the same category for Best Championship Performance.  So who will win, you deside just go to ESPN.com and vote for your favorites today.
