Jason Bay drove in two runs to give the Red Sox a win over the Yankees. Bay who was traded for Manny Ramirez has steppped in tonight like Ramirez and hurt the Yankees tonight. But also Tim Wakefield who was coming off the disable list pitched well. Wakefield pitched himself to his 8th win of this year. Wakefield had espcially Alex Rodriguez dumb founded the whole night. Rodriguez went 0-5 at one time left was the tying man at the plate and just could not deliver. The Red Sox and the Yankees play there last series at Yankee Stadium for the last time. But this series the Red Sox can truly put the Yankees out of there misery. The Yankees turn to Andy Pettitte there best clutch who just couldn’t deliver. Pettitte was knocked out in the 5th inning. One has to now also wonder besides Yankee stadium coming to and end. Have we seen the end of Andy Pettitte’s career? Yankees now are 6 out of the wild card and ready to kick the bucket.

The Undertaker music is playing and the 2008 New York Yankees are offically DEAD!!! The lost last night to the Toronto Blue Jays has been a symbol on whats been going on for the Yanks this whole season. You got guys like Rasner, Ponson come out of know where pitch and perform well and the Yankees cannot freakin score. How many times you’re going to loose to the Blue Jays, Baltimore and the DAMN Rangers. It is flat out shameful how the class of organization of sports has become. The Yankees with Jason Giambi, Robinson Cano, Melky Cabrerra and now Jorge Posda who is out for the season. The 2008 Yankees cannot freakin hit. But who has the last laugh laugh the loudest. And that’s Joe Torre, Torre will be taking the Dodgers to the playoffs and for 13 seasons in a row will be playing in October. As for Hank Steinburnner who ran him out of town. Hank will come up with and 200 million dollar excuse on why his team didn’t make the playoffs. I guess Hank Torre wasn’t as bad as you made him out to be is he Hank?

Cliff Lee won his 15th game yesterday. As the Indians beat the Rays 5-2. The Indians are unbeaten taking on the Rays this season.”Honestly, I didn’t have my best stuff,”Most of the innings I felt I had to battle quite a bit. They put me to the test petty good.”
Clay Buchholz is now 2-7 for the season. Buchholz gave up 4 runs and seven hits in six innings. The Red Sox has there issues in Kansas City they’re now 3-7 taking on the Royals in there ball park.
Joba Chamberlin was not to sharp last night taking on the Rangers. Chamberlin gave up 5 runs. But that’s the least of Chamberlin problems. Last night Chamberlin was taking out of the game due to a stiff shoulder and maybe miss his next start. The Yanks lost last night due to a two out bottom of the ninth grand slam homerun Marlon Byrd for the Rangers to give them the win 9-5.

Game 1 three 3 run homeruns was the story as the Angels beat the Yanks 12-6. And the three homeruns were all hit with two out. John Garland won his 10th game as he gave up only 3 runs. Pettitte got lit up by the Angels and is now 12-8 for the season.
Game 2 - Was a pitching duel Ervin Santana vs. Sidney Ponson. Both teams were scorless all the way up to the top of the 9th. Torri Hunter hit a game winning single. And Fransico Rodriguez close the door to give the Angels the Win. (more…)

A four game series kicks off this week at Yankee Stadium. The hot Angels come into town to take on the New York Yankees. The Angels who just swept the Red Sox in Fenway Park is now trying to put the Yankees in there place also. If the Angels win this series they would’ve made a statement to all the American League that they are the team to beat. Here are the top 3 things to watch for in this series.
3. Alex Rodriguez damn its time. A-Rod has to become a monster at the plate. I know he has 23 HR’S and 65 RBI’S. But these are the series where Yankees and there fans need for him to take over. Not on the Indians,Royals or the Oakland A’S. As for the Angels. Let see how much will newly accuired Mark Teixiera step in and help out the Angles. (more…)

The New York Yankees are still making moves. The Yankees in a shocking trade pick up Ivan Rodriguez. Rodriguez was added to the Yanks due to Jorge Posada being out for the rest of the season due to shoulder surgery. Rodriguez in a trade for Kyle Fransworth look for Farnsworth to maybe be the closer for the Tigers or just become the set up man to get to Jones. “He’s hitting over .290 I believe and he’s been hot so we’re looking forward to having him,” Yankees Manager Joe Giardi.
