The Phildelphia 76ers have been giving the big time favorite Detriot Pistons all that they can handle. The 76ers have won two games in this best of 7 and made Detriot think they were in the battle for the playoff lives. The Pistons who are the favorite in this series going into tonight have not yet won back to back games making the 1st round for the Pistons a tough one. Tonight the Pistons leader took over Chauncey Billups had 21 points 12 assist there were in total for Detriot 4 players that were in double figures for the Pistons who shot from the floor tonight 58% 43-74. ”We knew Game 6 was going to be an elimination game either way it went,” Billups said. “We wanted to be on the upper hand of that.” As for the Sixers they 21 from Andre Iguodala there were only in total three players from the Sixers who were in double figures and for the night the Sixers shot 30-71 from the floor at 42% the head coach Maurice Cheeks had this to say”I’ll be back,” Philadelphia coach Maurice Cheeks said to hecklers as the final seconds ticked off the clock. “I know you don’t believe me.” The Sixers will have there chance to make the fans eat there words this Thursday night in Philadelphia.

The 76ers are one of the feel good stories in this year NBA season. The head coach Maurice Cheecks who is a coach of the year canidate came into the Detriot pallace with one thing on his and the Sixers mind was to win this playoff series. The Detriot Pistons who have been to the Eastern Conference finals 5 times in a row felt if they put the pressure on the young Sixers they will go quitely in the night but the Sixers take on there personality of there head coach who is part of one of the greatest NBA Championship teams of all time. The 82 76ers and have installed the never say die attiude in his team he coaches the new young 76ers. The Sixers who were down 62-47 went on a 10-0 run to jump back in it and the Pistons looked old and didn’t know what hit them in the 4th quarter the Pistons only scored 16 points and in the second half the Sixers outscored the Piston 52-35. The Sixers had 5 scores in double figures lead by Andre Miller with 20. The Pistons have 678 games to the Sixers 95 and it seemed that the well experinced team forgot you have to play the full entire game to win in the playoffs.
