Let the panic begin.  All the Cubs fans who have witness all the bad things that can happened to a franchise. Now can add the name of James Loney who hit a grand slam homerun to lift the Dodgers over the Cubs.  And add Manny Ramirez who hit a 7th inning bomb.  Manny Ramirez who is never for a lost of words had this to say”I’m just being Manny,Manny

“That’s it. I’ve been playing great everywhere, and I’m just happy that I’m here in L.A. It was a great move for me, just to go and show people that that other stuff that I left behind wasn’t true, that I just want to come and get a new life and play the game … and show people that I still can do this.”

Lou Pinella the manager of the Cubs is now facing his biggest adversity.  The Cubs who got 100 years of losing and is now two games away from being 101 years.  Piniella had this to say about yesterday loss.”Let’s put this one behind us and go get them tomorrow.”  Next game Tonight  Dodgers Vs. Cubs.

The two who at one time was rivals now are together and is ready to take the Dodgers to the post season.  Right now the Dodgers is in a tie in the National League West with the Arizona Diamondbacks.  But Manny Ramirez has been the reason why the Dodgers have taken off. Ramirez since being a Dodgers is batting over 450 5 homeruns 16 RBI’S.  And now has everyone in the line up hitting.  From Nomar to Jeff Kent the Dodgers all of the sudden looks like they’re going to take over the west. But let’s not forget the job Joe Torre has done.  Torre who took the Yankees to 12 straight playoffs and won 4 championships has got this Dodger team head on straight.  Torre is  has to be one of the best managers this game has seen.  Just take a look at the Yankees without Torre.  The Yankees are now in danger of missing the playoffs the first time since 1993.  What the Yankees top management is finding out is that Torre just didn’t fill out a line up card and send his players out there.  Torre actually knew what buttons to push and had control of the locker room to get the best out of this players.  Between these two Ramirez and Torre they have 6 championship together and a large volume of experince when it comes to the playoffs.  Look out for the odd couple to not only win the west but I dare say when a title together.

 Will this blow up help bring this together? The Brewers who got swept by the Cubs are now trying to get back in the playoff hunt. Prince Fielder and pitcher Manny Para got into a shoving match will this bring this team together or tear them apart, the Brewers are now 5 games back.

 The team that was the hottest in baseball now has gone back to there up and down ways.  The Mets who were swept this weekend by the Astros are now looking up at 1st place. Now being 3 games out of first and Billy Wagner maybe missing time the Mets might be on there way out of a playoff race.

 Manny Ramirez has made his mark already being a Dodger.  Ramirez has gone 8 for 13 with two homeruns.  Ramirez clearly is now locked in to become a force in the National League West.

Two time champion Manny Ramirez is on his way to Tinsletown.  The LosAngels Dodgers now have Manny Ramirez.  Ramirez who have been one of the biggest reasons why the Red Sox broke there 1918 curse.  And has been maybe the best right hand hitter in the American League in the past 5 seasons.  Rumor has it that the Red Sox will get Justin Bay from the Pirtates.  This was a three way deal. We hear that the Dodgers gave up some prospects.

The Boston Red Sox have lost  back to back games against there rivals the New York Yankees.  And some of the finger pointing and reasoning may have to do with one Manny Ramirez.  Ramirez sat out on Friday’s game complaning of soreness in his knee.  The Red Sox made Ramirez take a MRI on both knees and the tests came up negative.  Ramirez who is in a contract battle with the Red Sox.  Ramirez has been not happy about how his contract negoations are going and maybe half stepping.  In other words Manny Ramirez may not being playing up to his full potiental.  Today reports came out that the Red Sox have been asking around to trade Manny Ramirez.  Ramirez after the loss today was no where to be found.  Now,Now Red Sox just remeber before this guy Ramirez was on your team.  You guys couldn’t win anything.  Now since Ramirez join your team he brought two Championships to the town of Boston.  In other words make him happy or you won’t win a championship this season.

Manny Ramirez last night was the 24th player in MLB history to hit 500 homeruns.  Ramierz last night in the 7th inning hit a solo homerun.  To give the Red Sox a 5-3 lead.  The Sox went ahead and picked up the victory 6-3.  Ramierz with the homerun now has 500.  Ramirez is only the third Red Sox history to hit 500. The other two Red Sox are Jimmy Fox and Ted Williams.   Ramirez had this to say”I’m happy, you know, about everything I accomplished in life,” Ramirez said afterward. “Not everybody has the chance to go and get to 500. I’m just proud to do it.”  The Red Sox with win is now 34-24 for the season.
