The kid with all the talent in the world. But has been known to not keep his head in the game. Tonight Jose Reyes prove why if he is focus Reyes is one of the top ball players in the MLB. The game is tied up a 3-3 in the bottom of the 6th. Jose Reyes takes it out of the park for a three run homerun. This gave the Mets a 6-3 lead. And then the drama starts the Mets who last night choked away a three run lead. Mostly due to Billy Wagner not closing the game due to muscle spasm. But tonight it look like a seen from the movie Major League. Charlie Sheen wild thing the closer thats what it look like when Wagner took the mound at Shea. Wagner shut down the Phillies one,two and three. The Mets who collaspe last season in September and also collaspe last night in the 9th, showed some fight tonight with a three run win over the Phillies.

No, this rivalry is not intense as of yet the Red Sox Vs. Yanks. But its starting to build that way. From Jimmy Rollins of the Phillies saying we are the team to beat in the N.L. East. To Carlos Beltran saying the Mets are going to take them down. The Mets last season in the month of September having its epic collaspe. The Phillies and the Mets have grown to a real hatered among both ball clubs. Billy Wagner the Mets closer has had a hard time with his former ball club the Phillies. Wagner has given up hits and has a very hard time closing out the Phillies. But now Wagner being out for this series due to and injury. The Mets have been playing well. And have won 12 out of its last 14 games. As for the Phillies. They’ve struggled due to the lack of pitching in they lost back to back games to the Marlins. And still do not really have a top ace on there pitching staff. (more…)
