Kudos to the Clippers for going ahead and getting Baron Davis to play point guard for them. The only problem is now they must signed Elton Brand. And now the Warriors who was Baron Davis old team has now stepped in and has made and offer that maybe to good to turn down if you’re Elton Brand. Reportedly the deal is worth 90 million for 5 years. The Clippers has proposed a 5 year 65 million deal. The day after they signed Baron Davis. But reportedly Brand will remain with the Clippers espcially since they signed Baron Davis. But the Clippers do look like they’re going to loose one of they players on the team. Corey Maggette has reportedly about to signed with the Spurs. This is highly unsual for the Clippers to be so involved in all these type of moves in the off season. It looks like if Elton Brand decide to say the Lakers might have some competition for who owns the Staple Center this year in Los Angeles.

The Golden State Warriors guard Baron Davis has opted out of his $17.8 million contract owned to him and the Los Angeles Clippers could be calling. In his final season of his six-year contract, Davis made his decision late yesterday. He could still sign with the Warriors but the love that he has in L.A. could be more appealing. He grow up in Southern California and he played for UCLA. Before Davis opted out it was reported that the Clippers were looking at Sacramento Kings point guard Beno Udrih.

The look on Baron Davis and Al Harrington of the GoldenState Warriors tells it all. Last night the lost to the Suns 122-116 and took there playoff dreams off the table. The Warriors who had a good solid record of 48-33 .593. The Warriors who last season stun the basketball world with and upset win over the Dallas Mavericks last season will not be able to upset anyone this season. The Warriors are coached by the Don Nelson one has wonder will he be back next season?

Stephen Jackson has had his ups and downs in his career with the brawl at the Palice in Detorit and to help the Warriors last season in the post season beat the Dallas Mavericks in a classic 8 beatin a 1 and having the Warriors move on to the next round and had the whole entire west coast on lock. Stephen Jackson who is known by this quote ” I make love to pressure” got a chance to prove it on Sunday when he took on the Lakers. (more…)

What’s the saying defense wins championships well don’t tell that to the Hawks and the Warriors. The Hawks who were going for there third win in a row at home. Joe Johnson had and outstanding 1st half with 29 points. The Hawks were scoring so well in the 1st quarter alone they had 42 points. The Hawks ended up with 70 points in the 1st half. The Warrios had 66 points. In the second half the problems for the Hawks is they turned the ball over 18 times and the Warriors had 10. For the Hawks 5 players were in double figures but Mike Bibby could not get in the groove. Bibby had a total of only 5 points. The Warriors were lead by point guard Baron Davis with 35 also Stephen Jackson went off in the second half and the Warriors went on a 20-4 run in the third quarter and the Warriors never looked back. The Hawks with the loss remians 2.5 games out of the playoffs. It doesn’t get any easier for the Hawks next up the Chris Paul and the Hornets.
