Arenas will be a Wizards for a while. Gilbert Arenas has signed for 6 season worth 111 million. Arenas was reportedly going for the mas deal for $127 million.
“I’m basically giving back $16 million,” Arenas told the Washington Times. “This is in line with what I’ve been saying the whole time. You see players take max deals and they financially bind their teams. I don’t wanna be one of those players and three years down the road your team is strapped and can’t do anything about it.” Arenas averaged 22 points 5 assist and 4 rebounds.
“It’s a relief,” Arenas told the Washington Times. “It was a burden at the same time. Your whole city is depending on you, wondering if you’re going to make the right decision. I’m a franchise player and sometimes franchise players need to make franchise decisions.”

Who could forget the days of the Hack-a-Shaq while Shaq played in L.A., well now it looks like since the Washington Wizards have been playing the Cleveland Cavaliers a new saying has been created…..Hack-a-Bron. DeShawn Stevenson and the Washington Wizards are two games away from being labeled as the the biggest “DUMB ASS” In NBA history. Tonight James and the Cavs blew the doors of Wizards with a 30 point victory. This game was over before it started. Gilbert Arenas agent 00 lived up to his nickname he gave the Wizards nothing. Arenas looked a couple of steps slow and made horrible choices in shot selection for the game Arenas scored 7 points Arenas shot 2-10 from the floor. DeShawn Stevenson had 12 points and made himself looked foolish by mocking the Cavs when he hit a three pointer. Lebron James said” continue to be aggresive” James had 30 and 12 Assit. Daniel Gibson coming off the bench was outstanding with 13 points. The Cavs take a comanding 2-0 game 3 will be in Washington this Friday.

Lebron James pulled up to the arena yesterday with a license plate that read king of OHIO. The Wizards who have been talking smack about the 23 year old franchise player who has helped knocked the Wizards out of the playoffs the last two seasons has become a heated rivarly. James started out slow being 1-5 from the floor and the Wizards had control of this game until 3 minutes plus left in the second half and alley hoop from Daniel Gibson to Lebron James that brought the house down James and for the game shot 12-19 from the floor he ended the game with 32 points Gilbert Arenas for the Wizards was coming off the bench Arenas who missed 56 games during the season is now got a NEW role for the Wizards for right now shot 8-16 from the floor and had 24 to lead the Wizards but this was a mistake Antwain Jamerson should’ve got more touches for the game Jamerson had 24 pts and 19 rebounds too many shots by Arenas cause the Wizards to lose they will continue there battle on Monday game 2.
