My man Doc Rivers.  I got mad love for you. But you blew game 3.  There were four things in this game you missed.

4.  When Paul Pierce got his 5th foul early in the 4th quarter keep him in the game.  Doc you over coaching on that one.  You should’ve trust Paul Pierce enough to not get a 6th called on him.

3. Speak to Kevin Garnett.  I know this is really being a jerk about this, but tell Garnett to stop shooting jumpers and take the”DAMN” ball to the hole .  GaSol is soft and Garnett would’ve been more effective. Read more

Pau Gasol and Kevin Garnett

The Boston Celitcs weakness was that they are not deep.  All they have is the big three and thats it.  Well tonight a young man name Leon Powe step up to be the star of Game 2.  Leon Powe shot 6-7 from the floor, and scored 21 points in 15 minutes.  Powe is one of the unknown guys who comes out of no where to become huge story in the Finals. Head Coach of the Celtics Doc Rivers had this to say about Leon Powe performance.” Tonight he was terrfic. I was happy Leon was able to score in the post.”  It happends all the time.  Weather its the Superbowl with David Tyree to now Leon Powe.  The Celtics out hussled the Lakers all night.  Boston was lead by Paul Pierce with 28 points.  Pierce was 9-16 from the floor.  Read more

Celtics

Doc Rivers last season only won 24 games.  A lot of people thought that Rivers was maybe not cut out to be the coach for the Celtics.  The General Manager Danny Ainge pulled off a huge trade.  Ainge brought in Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.  And with that the Celtics has had the biggest turn around in NBA history.  A fourty two game turn around and with a win tonight.  The Boston Celtics will be going to the NBA Finals. Boston hasn’t been in the NBA Finals since 1987.  The last time the Celtics won a Championship was 1986. Jason Maxiell and Antonio McDyess

Antonio McDyess last season in the Eastern Conference finals was left sitting on the bench in game 5.  You all remember this was the night Lebron James went off on the Pistons.  McDyess was looking rejected and knew that his team blew the chance of going to the NBA finals.  McDyess wasn’t with the Pistons back in 2004 when they won the championship, and now McDyess out of all the Pistons seems to be the one that wants it the most.  McDyess after the loss in game 3 was reportedly preaching while the team was a video of game 3.  McDyess was reportedly saying” WERE GOING TO BE ALRIGHT.”  and if last nights performance by McDyess is any indication then the Pistons will be on there way to the NBA finals. Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett (5) defends Detroit Pistons guard Richard Hamilton late in the fourth quarter of Game 3 of the NBA basketball Eastern Conference basketball finals Saturday, May 24, 2008, in Auburn Hills, Mich. Boston got their first road win of the playoffs 94-80 and lead the series 2-1.

The Boston Celtics have been considred by many in the post season to be a “BULLY’ due to they can win at home but, when it comes to being on the road they’re soft like the twinkie filling.  Boston in this post season is 0-6 on the road and no NBA team has ever won a championship being 0-6 on the road.  The Celtics losing game 2 in Boston had many thinking that there season is over and that the Pistons will win this series easily, but that’s why sports is so outstanding and just when you think you have it all figured out and upset like last night happends.
