Hornets Nest- New Orleans 97 Dallas 84 !!!

The last time the Hornets won in Dallas Chris Paul was 12 years old before tonights game. Not since 1998 have the Hornets won a game in Dallas. The Mavericks came out in the 1st quarter and scored 30 points but could not keep up the production on the offensive side of the ball by the end of the 1st half the Hornets had the lead 48-44. Thrid quarter the Hornets went on a 9-0 run without Chris Paul and started to pull away. The man for tonights game was David West who was reported before tonights game didn’t speak due to his poor performance in game 3. West made up for tonight in game 4 .”Everything was stirring up in him,” coach Byron Scott said. “He wasn’t going to play the way he played in Game 3. We were banking on that. Dallas Make The Playoffs-Mavericks 97 Jazz 94 !!!

The trade for Jason Kidd maybe now starting to pay off for the Mavs the win against the Suns and now a late three pointer by Nowitizki the Mavs now are on the way to the playoffs if would’ve said this to your’s truly about two weeks ago I will have laugh in your face and said you were crazy, but the performance of the Mavs who at one time couldn’t be a team with a winning record now the Mavs might come in a become a surprise in the playoffs. Dirk Nowitizki has stepped up and become the team leader tonight hitting a three pointer with 3 seconds left on the clock.”How do you leave the MVP wide open? It’s unbelievable,” teammate Jason Terry said. Nowitizki had his game high 32 and with a win and the Golden State Warrios losing the Mavs punch there ticket to the playoffs. If the playoffs was to start today they will take on the Spurs.

Overtime Showdown - Lakers Win Over Mavs

Sunday’s double-header on ABC ended with the Los Angeles Lakers facing the Dallas Mavericks. This Sunday’s match-up was just what everybody was looking for from players like Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki…..they didn’t disappoint the NBA fans. Kobe started off some what slow, but after three quarters, the Black Mamba had a 22 points and during one stretch had missed 5-of-8 free throws.

Cavs Beat Mavericks 86-81!!!

Lebron James and the Cavs were looking for some pay back against the Mavs. The Mavericks in the season opener crushed the Cavs and Lebron and company was looking to even the score tonight with a win. The game tonight featured the MVP of the 2006 season Dirk Nowitzki who tonight had 19 points with 20 rebounds. Both teams struggled from the floor by shooting only 36 percent. James had 24 points with 8 rebounds to help give the Cavs a five point victory. The Cavs have won 2 in a row.
