Matsuzaka stared out on the hill for the Boston Red Sox in Coors Field last night. In the beging of the season the Red Sox paid 103 million to sign the ball player and throughout the season Matsuzaka did not live up to the big time pay day. I guess Matsuaka was just waiting for the World Series. Matsuzaka pitched 5 plus scoreless innings and also up at bat drove in two runs to help the Red Sox pound the Rockies at Coors Field 10-5. “If we don’t win it’s ok there is always next year.” Manny Ramierz said since that statement the Red Sox have won 6 in a row and seemed to have things going there way. The Red Sox now lead the World Series 3-0.

Curt Schilling went 5 plus innings and gave up 1 run and help the Boston Red Sox take a commanding 2-0 lead in the 2007 World Series. The real story was this last night that
Boston fans get to see Schilling pitch his contract is up and the end of this year and there is talk that the Red Sox will not renew his contract.
Schilling at 41 walked off
Fenway
Park to a standing ovation, but was it for the last time?
If it was the Red Sox faithful will get another chance to cheer for Schilling when he goes to
Cooperstown in the MLB hall of fame.
The Red Sox won last night 2-1.

If you are like me you have never been to a playoff game, well here is your chance. The Arizona Diamondbacks has not sold out game 1 there are still 8,000 seats left. This series eventhough it is a great story of two young and gun teams in the playoffs doing well and beating the high power big cities like philly and chicago. If you can’t even draw up a sell out for the League Championship series in your own stadium how do you think the baseball fan is going to watch this series? Let the nightmare begin.
