The New Orleans Hornets was coming back home for game 7. The fans were behind them and a lot of NBA experts had the Hornets beating the Champions the Spurs. The Spurs had a lot against them going on the road trying to win a game 7 in a loud and wild enviornment. The Spurs also have never come back from being down 2-0 and the Spurs lost the first two games of the series to the young Hornets. Now everything seemed to be in the favor of the Hornets expect one old rule. To be the man you got to beat the man and when all was said and done the Champs are still here. (more…)

San Antonio Spurs are old boaring not fun to watch and is a t.v. ratings nightmare. The only thing they do well is win. The Spurs last night showed the Hornets and the NBA world no matter how you may feel about us remember the Champs are here. The Spurs in the 1st half shot for 60% and part of the reason is Tony Parker being in the painted area all night long. For all the Chris Paul talk Tony Parker has been flat outstanding. Parker went 8-12 from the field and the most impressive stat is he did not turn the ball over once in the 1st half and add that Parker did not even shoot a three pointer in the game last night. The report before Game 3 Spurs Vs. Hornets were the Hornets are too fast for the Spurs. Tony Parker can’t handle the new sensation Chris Paul. Tim Duncan has lost a step. To be truthful the only thing the Hornets did was defend there home court. Now if the Hornets was to win game 3 in San Antonio then the statements previous made maybe true but the Spurs prove once again in Game 3 they have the heart of a Champion. (more…)

The Hornets won game 1 going away with the play of David West and the career playoff low of Tim Duncan who only scored 5 points. The Spurs who are known for the big time come back had that set in thier minds as they took on the young Hornets. The Hornets who have been flying high wanted to take a comanding lead at 2-0 knew it wouldn’t be easy going up against the defending champs the San Antonio Spurs. (more…)

MVP candidate Chris Paul had a game for the ages with a triple double 24 points 15 assist and 11 rebounds. ” This is for the city of New Orleans.” said point guard Chris Paul. In all for the Mavericks there were 5 players in double figures. Jannero Pargo coming off the bench was huge for the Hornets during season he average 8 points per game and tonight Pargo had 17. As for the Mavs they were only 9-26 from three point range shot 34% as for the Hornets from three point range 8-14 at 57%. This 1st round lost for the Mavs is there second in a row and now the speculation has to happened for the Mavs will Avery Johnson be fired will Josh Howard be traded what are they going to do with Jason Kidd? The last time the Hornets won in Dallas Chris Paul was 12 years old before tonights game. Not since 1998 have the Hornets won a game in Dallas. The Mavericks came out in the 1st quarter and scored 30 points but could not keep up the production on the offensive side of the ball by the end of the 1st half the Hornets had the lead 48-44. Thrid quarter the Hornets went on a 9-0 run without Chris Paul and started to pull away. The man for tonights game was David West who was reported before tonights game didn’t speak due to his poor performance in game 3. West made up for tonight in game 4 .”Everything was stirring up in him,” coach Byron Scott said. “He wasn’t going to play the way he played in Game 3. We were banking on that. He was in an aggressive mind-set from the start and he came up big.” (more…)
