The Chicago White Sox are on there way to postseason play. Tonight in a black out crowd in Chicago the South Side celebrated with there team to a victory over the Twins tonight 1-0. The starting pitching for both teams was outstanding. The Twins Nick Blackburn and the White Sox Pitcher John Danks had a duel for the ages. But the first big play of the game in the top of the 5th one out man on third a fly out was hit to centerfield and Mr. 10 time Gold Glove winner Ken Griffery Jr. threw out the runner at the plate. Bu the way Ken Griffey Jr has the most assist put out by and outfielder who is active. And that kept the game scoreless. In the 7th inning Jim Thome took one out of the park over the centerfield wall. To give the White Sox a 1-0 lead that’s all they would need to get a win over the Twins. Next up for the White Sox are the Tampa Bay Rays.

Win or go home; The White Sox will be at home against the Twins. The White Sox and Twins are playing a sudden death game tonight in Chicago. The Sox who are coming into this game without there homerun leader Carlos Quentin and he also lead the team in RBI’S. But still they stand one game away to making it to the postseason. The Twins are more remarkable with losing Johan Santana but still was able to produce a better record than the Tigers and Indians. Who on paper looks better than this Twins. Joe Mauer lead the team in batting at .330 and Justin Morneau with 23 homeruns and 129 RBI’S batting .302. Now the White Sox who have hitter all on there team Jermaine Dye, Paul Konerko and maybe the dark horse of this game Ken Griffey Jr. The pitchers for the Twins Nick Blackburn is 11-10 and last time Blackburn took the mound he got the win over the White Sox. Taking the mound for the White Sox is John Dake who is 11-9 with a 3.47 ERA but loss his last apperance against the Indians. Who ever wins this game will take on the Rays in the first round of the playoffs.

Well the beat goes on. Ken Griffey Jr. is wanted by the Chicago White Sox. But the problem is does Griffey Jr. want to go to the White Sox? Griffey Jr. can veto any trade since he has been in the league for 10 seasons. At 38 Griffey Jr. is batting .245 and has 15 homeruns. And maybe the hall of fame player might be at the end of his career. The White Sox who are sitting in 1st place in the A.L. Central. With the help of Griffey Jr. could win there division and go to the post season. Griffey this season join the 600 homerun club and is a lock for a 1st ballot hall of fame player.

OzzieGuillen goes off again. It’s no act if you ask your’s truly. Guillen wears his emotions on his sleeve. Yesterday after the White Sox lost to the the Tampa Bay Rays. Guillen who is never for a lost for words had this to say.
“It can be me. It can be (hitting coach) Greg Walker. It can be the players. It could be anybody. I’m sick and tired to watch this thing for a year and a half. I’m not protecting anybody anymore. [Bleep] it. If they can’t get it done, Kenny should find someone to get it done.” (more…)
