Reports are now coming out that the Indians have dealt last season Cyoung award winner C.C.Sabithia to the Brewers. The Indians who last year in the post season was one win away from going to the World Series. Has been one of the biggest disapointments this year in the MLB. The Indians are sitting in last place with 37-51 and 14 games out. The Indians wanted and got there man from the Brewers Matt Laporta. Laporta who is in double A is batting .288 20 homeruns and has 64 RBI’S in 84 games. Sabithia for the Indians has had 106 career wins out of 233 games he has started for the franchise. For the Brewers who haven’t been in the playoffs since 1982. This is a team who is going for it now. It’s a good chance they won’t re-signed Sabithia or Ben Sheets. So right now the Brewers are going for it.

The Yankees ended there 18 game road trip last night with a win 5-2 in Cleveland. Mike Mussina pitched had a solid performance went 5 innings gave up 7 hits and gave up two runs. Mussina the 39 year old has been pitching well since the statement of Hank owner of the Yankees said that maybe Mussina needs to start pitching like Jamie Moyer of the Phillies due to he is no longer a power pitcher he once was. Mussina with back to back wins and getting his 253rd win of his career which now ties him with hall of fame pitcher Carl Hubbell is showing not only Yankee upper management but also the folks in baseball he is not done yet. Mariano Rivera who got his 8th saved last night is now saved already 8 in a row for the bronx bombers.

CC Sabithia the Cyoung award winner has put the Indians on notice with rejecting a reported 5 year 100 million dollar offer from the tribe. Sabithia who beat out Josh Beckett of the Red Sox last season has seen what Johan Santana has gotten and is now ready to the free agency market. Sabithia clearly must have the Yankees on his mind due to the New York will have 60 million coming off there books as Giambi,Moose and Andy Pettitte will be free agents and more than likely maybe if Pettitte has a stand out season will resign if not that’s and extra 60 million and the Yankees will out bid the Indians by at least 40 to 50 million. Sabithia last seson went 19-7 with a 3.21 ERA and 209 strike outs.

For the second time in four seasons the Boston Red Sox will go to the World Series this time they will take on the Colorado Rockies. The Red Sox have seem to be peaking at the right time game 5,6 and 7 the Red Sox never trailed in the series and beat up on the Indians pitching they out scored Cleveland 30-5, So now bring on the Colorado Rockies yeah right if the Red Sox don’t sweep these guys the Rockies should have a celebration. The Red Sox will be the champions of baseball the only question in the World Series is who will be M.V.P.

The Cleveland Indians are now one game away from the big dance. The Indians who won last night 7-3 with a good pitching performance from Paul Byrd the Indians will now turn the game 5 to the ace of the staff C.C. Sabithia. The power pitcher will try to get the Indians back to the world series, 1995 was the last time the Indians was there and they came up short against the Atlanta Braves, but lets not count the Red Sox out just yet the comeback in 2004 where the Yankees had a 3-0 lead and the Red Sox came back and won the series, but this is not 2004 and this is not the Yankees the Indians right now look like a team that has destiny on there side and is trying to bring a Championship back home to Cleveland.
