Not so fast everybody. The Spurs are not dead yet. Last night once again they prove that they have a heart of champion. San Antonio beat the Hornets not only by scoring but also beat them up. The Hornets was really never in the game. The Hornets were only 2-9 from three point range and looked like a deer in the head lights. David West who scored a career high 38 points only had 10 in game 6 and had to leave the game with a back injury. West was having problems with his back all night long but Robert” The Hit Man” Horry came in and gave in a nice little love tap to the lower back. Which made West had to leave for the rest of the game. (more…)

This was the guy who was ran out of New Jersey due to Jason Kidd didn’t like him eventhough Scott took this team to the NBA Finals in New Jersey but if the best player don’t like you most of the time you have to go. Well look at the Nets now they’re a team that no one cares about Jason Kidd looks very old on Dallas team that might get destroyed after tonights game against the Hornets. For the regular season the Hornets were 56-26 what all this proves is no matter where he goes Scott is a winner.

One of the best teams in the NBA resides in the Crescent City. That’s right it is the New Orleans Hornets. The Hornets are led by arguably the best point guard in the league Chris Paul. Paul has without a doubt been the cog that has this team on the cusp of doing great things. Paul is averaging a double double with 21.3 points and over 10 assists. He is not alone. Alond side Paul are guys who really don’t crave the spotlight. David West (19 points 9 rebounds) and Tyson Chandler( over 12 rebounds per game) make up one of the NBA’s best frontcourts. At 29-12 the Hornets have the best record in the West. Yes that is better than the Lakers, Spurs, Suns, and the Mavericks. Paul and Chandler have become the best tandem in the league as they time and time again team up for alley-oop dunks. Hornet coach Byron Scott has done a great job with such a young team from top to bottom. The Hornets have won five in a row. A huge test comes this Saturday as they take on the Spurs in San Antonio in the last of a back to back.
