The last time I checked this was still America and you had the freedom to do( within reason and the law) what you damn well pleased. So why are the New England Patriots being called to the carpet again for doing what they are supposed to do? Granted I know it was fourth and 1 from the three yardline and I know the Pats were already ahead by four touchdowns. I get all that. My point is this if I go for it on fourth down that gives you a chance to stop me from scoring at all. All you have to do is stop me. Now if you don’t and I score that is not my fault. Now on the other hand if I decide to kick a fieldgoal that to me is just tacking on points. How many blocked fieldgoals do you see from inside the 20? My point exactly. I say get off their backs. Don’t try to take Tom Brady out at the knees just try to play better defense next time. And to the teams that are left on their schedule with winning records ( Steelers, Giants) strap on your chin strap tight and come with it because unless the Pats have a loss they are not going to have pity for noone including you. In the immortal words of Irv Gotti ” Man Up”
