As if the Detriot Tigers didn’t have enough hitting.  The reports are coming out that the Detriot Tigers might be adding another bat to there line up.  The one and only Barry Bonds.  Bonds is not to far out there to have on this team due to the manager of the team Jim Leyland and Bonds do have a history together that dates back to the Pirtate days.  Bonds the homerun king of baseball who hit last season 28 homeruns 66 RBI’S and batted a .276.  Bonds who is now 43 can still be and awesome DH for any American League team.  The only thing is there is a”little” thing called steriods that might tear up the locker room and cause a whole lot of controversy but don’t look for this to happened espcially if Gary Shefield is there.  Shefield and Bonds do not get along after all the reports of steriods one is blaming the other it’s a mess if Bonds goes to the Tigers. Now Seattle or anyone in the American League West “YES” but the Tigers No.

The Mitchell Report

December 14, 2007 | 2 Comments

After taking some time to digest all the pertinent information that was given to us by George Mitchell I say, is this what we were waiting for? To hear a bunch of names that don’t play anymore and the majority of them either at one time plaed for basically three teams, NY Mets and Yankees and the LA Dodgers. Yes the big fish that got caught in the net was Roger Clemens that was a coup for me, see ” Who is this Man”. A story I wrote sometime ago. Read more

Greg Anderson, Barry Bonds, and Shane Mosley.  Did you ever think that you would see these names linked together.  Well when SI.com  reported that “Sugar” Shane Mosley was reportedly using the clear and cream made by the Balco lab. Mosley reportedly used the cream prior to his 2003 fight with Oscar DeLahoya.  Is that the reason for the victory?  Who knows.  The question is why did he need to use it. If he used it to fight Oscar why didn’t he use it when he lost to Vernon Forrest twice?  Is the fight game now becoming just like baseball and wrestling?  With James Toney and Fernando Vargas using steroids as well is the sweet science dirty beyond promoters and the gambling? It is such a shame.  Now what does this do for his fight against Miguel Cotto?  Should that even go on?  How do we know he is not cycling off right now?  Too many questions and not enough answers.

The Giants that year won a103 games. “It comes a time when you have to move in a different direction.” CEO of the Giants Peter Magowan said.  Bonds was with the Giants for 15 seasons.  The Giants are currently in last place.
