Weekend Review-College Football

Sunday, November 25th, 2007 |

Now this is fun!!!! With LSU’s meltdown on Friday the whole BCS world has been opened for all to see or be apart of. Darren McFadden showed everyone that the Heisman race now has a stud horse coming down the homestretch. He ran through one of the nations best defenses for 206 yards rushing another 39 passing and three total touchdowns ( 2 rushing, 1 passing). A performance for the ages that just might move him past Tim Tebow for the Heisman ( more on him later). (more…)

The trend in College Football this year continues to be expect the unexpected. Boy, you would think at some point the strange things would stop. They don’t. Who would have thought that a Steve Spurrier coached team, no matter who they were, would lose to the Vanderbilt Commodores. (more…)

Who’s to Blame?

Friday, October 5th, 2007 |

People are going to point their finger at Heisman hopeful Andre Woodson for the lost against University of South Carolina last night and the way I see it is that he is not all to blame.  And I know what you are saying ”Look at the two lost fumbles, both by the way returned for touchdowns.  Also look at the unfortunate interception toss at the opponents’ goal line”, but the bottom line is that Kentucky lost 38-23 in a nationally televised game.  Its a shame really, because it wasn’t the Kentucky QB’s fault.
