LAL Angels-Torri Hunter!!!

Torri Hunter is now and Angel.  A LosAngels Angels that is the 32 year old who played 8 season for the Minnesota Twins has left and now will be sharing the outfield with Vlad Gurrero and should help the Angels have a strong and much needed bat in the line up.  Hunter is getting 5 year 80 million dollars.  Hunter is a 7 time gold glove winner who hit .297 28 HR 107 RBI in 2oo7.

A-ROD- MVP FOR THE AMERICAN LEAGUE!!!

The 2007 A.L. MVP was announced yesterday.  A-Rod the 275 million dollar man did the damn thing during the regular season.  Rodriguez hit 54 homeruns 156 RBI’s this is Rodriguez thrid MVP in his career.

“There’s definitely a huge hole in the resume. And I mean, it’s my third MVP and I’m here to say that I would trade all three for one world championship. I wouldn’t think twice about it,” Rodriguez said.

The New Man In Charge!!!

Joe Girardi is the new manager for the New York Yankees.  It is a 3 year deal worth 2 million a season.  Girardi not only is a former player for the New York Yankees, but also was the 2006 manager of the year for the Florida Marlins his record was 78-84.  Girardi who is now 43 has won 3 World Series with the New York Yankees 1996-1999.  Now with that out of the way what is going too happened to Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera Andy Petite and the MVP of the American League Alex Rodriguez.
