Yo Shaq, Where Ya At????

Shaquille O’Neal will not be attending the All-Star game this year.  After not being selected at all this ends his streak for the most All-Star game apperances.  Only Shaq, Jerry (the Logo) West and Karl (Mailman) Malone have been in 14 straight All-Star games.   Dwight Howard who beat out O’Neal said ”As long as Shaq is playing, he should be in the all-star game — just because of who he is.”  O’Neal will be at All-Star weekend in New Orleans regardless.   The former LSU star has at least two events planned, including a fundraising party with Reggie Bush of the NFL’s Saints.

Could this be the begining of the end for Shaq????

The Starting Five

The votes are in and now we know who will start in the 2008 NBA All-Star Game.  The 57th NBA All-Star game will take place in New Orleans Feb. 17.  The weekend will kick off on Feb. 15 with the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge and the following day we have the Shooting Stars, Skills Challenge, Three-Point Shootout, and  Slam Dunk Contest.  In this years Slam Dunk Contest you have defending champ Gerald Green, also in the line-up Dwight Howard (who placed 3rd last year), Rudy Gay and Jamario Moon.   This years starters for East and West are (more…)
