Dan Did The Damn Thing-Arizona 2 Red Sox 1 !!

The Diamondbacks got swept by the Twins.  This past weekend and have been struggling to produce runs.  Brandon Webb couldn’t stop the slide.  Now Dan Haren step up tonight and put on and outstanding performance.  Haren in his best pitching performance went 7 scoreless innings.  And was able to pick up fith win in a row.  Haren for the season is 8-4 with a 3.04 ERA.  Josh Beckett didn’t pitched bad and normally if Beckett gives up two runs. That is and automatic win for the Red Sox.  The Red Sox could not score off the Diamondbacks pitcher Haren.

Nightmare on Baseball Street pt. 1

If you are like me you have never been to a playoff game, well here is your chance.  The Arizona Diamondbacks has not sold out game 1 there are still 8,000 seats left.  This series eventhough it is a great story of two young and gun teams in the playoffs doing well and beating the high power big cities like philly and chicago.  If you can’t even draw up a sell out for the League Championship series in your own stadium how do you think the baseball fan is going to watch this series? Let the nightmare begin.

NLCS is set!!!!!!

The Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies are set to battle for the National League Pennant.  The Diamondbacks finish off the hapless Cubs and Lou Pinella in a three game sweep with a 5-1 win in Wrigley on Saturday.  On the same day the Rockies ended the season of the Phillies 2-1 to complete their own three game sweep.  (more…)

MLB-PLAYOFFS-WERE IS THE STAR POWER?

Do you know who these teams are? The Arizona Diamond Backs Colorado Rockies and the Cleveland Indians.  The new no names teams I am sorry to me is not must see t.v.  I hope this is not what the post season in baseball has come to.  I mean please, do you want to sit up late at night to see the Diamondbacks vs. Rockies? I think not.  Haven’t we learned our lesson with NBA championship with Cleveland Vs. Spurs.  I know I am die hard Yankee fan but I do not want to see the Indians vs. Arizona or the Rockies if this happends I might go to the bathroom on myself.  I guess it could be worst the Red Sox could win the whole damn thing and become champions.  I think its time for me to shut up and watch and enjoy the post season classic.
