BCS TOP 10 THIS WEEK 14!!!

Written on December 1, 2008 – 7:45 am | by Harry Robinson |

Well the crying begin it has already started with the great fans of Texas.  Mac Brown Colt Mcoy I feel for you but this is what you get with all of these old rules.  The good old boy network is still running college football and this is the stupidness you get when you have a lot of rules that are out dated.  Take a word from President Elect Obama “GET A PLAYOFF.”

1. Alabama- Nick Saban the best coach in all of College Football.

2.Oklahoma-Can Missouri upset them?

3.Texas-Boycott the BCS bowl game.

4.Florida-Tim Tebow maybe the greatest College Football player of all time.

5.USC-Boycott the BCS bowl game.

6.Utah- great season.

7.Texas Tech- Crabtree & Grahm hurt will see how this effect them in the bowl game.

8.Penn State-Rose Bowl bound.

9.Boise State- I guess I better respect this team?

10.Ohio State-Let them play UGA it will be a great money maker.

BCS SCREW-JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!

Written on December 1, 2008 – 5:29 am | by chanceblack |

AS you would expect from the NCAA and the BCS, someone gets screwed once again in the name of money.  This time it happens to be the Longhorns of Texas.   WTF???????? Oklahoma gets the Big 12 South Title even though they lost to Texas?  Please explain the logic behind this one!!!  And don’t hand me that crap that OU won last or freekin “Style-points”!!!! is this football or a fashion-show?  Ok the Horns lost to Texas Tech and OU beats Texas Tech, But the Horns beat OU.  So are you really saying that OU is better than the Horns?  Come on!!!!!!!!!!! Give me a break! and by the way Texas Tech is getting screwed as well by dropping them out of the BCS.  A playoff is needed so bad right now.  Utah is ranked higher than the Red Raiders of Texas Tech…………..for real?  And now the BCS is blaming the Big 12 for the mess………..uh……thats football!!!!!!!! If you had a system that would eliminate teams on the field of play and not by who voters think is should be or a computer formula then we would not have this problem.  It would be settled on the field where it matters most.  Put the teams on the field and when the dust settles last team standing are the Champs.  For all those who think College Football is so exciting where is the excitment now?  The regular season is so exciting then when you get to the end it is one big hose job.   DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lane Kiffin will have his dad join him?

Written on November 30, 2008 – 4:16 pm | by david |

When Tennessee announces Lane Kiffin as head coach they will be getting a added bonus also. Reportedly Monte Kiffin will follow his son to Rocky Top. Monte has been a Legendary Defensive Coordinator in the NFL for the Colts and Buccaneers for many years. Don’t expect this to be a quick fix. If Eric Berry stays he would be a perfect cornerstone for Kiffin. The other question is can they get the recruits they need. Some say Lane is just a West Coast guy that won’t be able to recruit in the South. I think he will be fine recruiting wise and with the staff he maybe aligning himself with should be able to get this ship corrected. Just be patient Vol fans or else the ship will sink just as fast as you wanted to get rid of Phillip.

Yellow Jackets Sting Bulldogs-GA TECH 45 UGA 42

Written on November 29, 2008 – 9:56 pm | by Harry Robinson |

In the begining of the year Tech was thought by many in the ACC to end the year with a record of 3-9.  Well at the end of there rival game in Athens they were the reverse of 3-9 they ended up 9-3.  Paul Johnson in his first season as the head coach of the Yellow Jackets beat up the on the UGA Bulldogs all day in Athens.  At one point in the game the Yellow Jackets scored 26 points in a row.  The Yellow Jackets was unstoppable espcially on the ground.  The Yellow Jackets rushed for over 400 yards.  As for the Bulldogs they were lead on the offensive side of the ball by Matthew Stafford who passed for over 400 yards an a great game by Knownshon Moreno who rushed for 94 yards and caught for 74 yards and 1 touchdown.  But the downside for the UGA Bulldogs is there defense was horrible.   It seems to be the trend this year in the SEC expect for Florida and Alabama the defense has gone away in the SEC.  And the UGA Bulldogs is front in center of the pack when it comes to the let down of defensive play. Tech with the win snaps a 7 game losing streak also it is a lot to be said that Tech came back from 16 down in this game and turned it around to win the game.  Now where does UGA go from here?  UGA was a preseason ranked No.1 but now having loss to Florida, Alabama and now GA Tech.  UGA will now maybe not be ranked even in the top 20.  As for Tech sky’s the limit what a great year this team with some luck will play in strong solid bowl and now when you think about next season they will be the team to beat in the ACC.

Plaxico Burress Shoots Himself??

Written on November 29, 2008 – 9:38 pm | by Harry Robinson |

New York Giants troubled star Plaxico Burress shot himself accidentally in the leg on Friday night in a Manhattan night club.  Burress who was out for Sunday’s game due to a hamstring injury.  Plaxico now shooting himself in the leg is a long list of issues the Wide Reciver has had since he has been with the Giants.  But not only does the Burress has to worry about the injury to the leg.  Now there are questions about was the gun that shot him was it registred an what will Roger Goodell the NFL commissioner due about this will he now suspend Burress?  The Giant star has now become a cancer to this New York Giants team. And make no mistake about this the New York Giants cannot repeat as champions if Burress is not on this team.  I guess the Giants who are now the best team in the NFL found its weakness and that is there own teamate Plaxico Burress.

Shut Up Old Man: Lebron Vs. Sir Charles

Written on November 28, 2008 – 10:46 pm | by Harry Robinson |

The war worlds has kicked off between Barkley and Lebron.  Lebron James this week was hinting he doesn’t know where he is playing at in the year 2010.  And to much to his delight he was happy that the New York Knicks fans was giving him a hero’s welcome.  But Charles Barkley was not impressed witht the all star.  Matter of fact Sir Charles Barkley had this to say about King James. ” He needs to shut the hell up, disrespectful to the game” for James to talk about leaving Cleveland when he still has two years left on his contract.”  James finding out what Sir Charles said this about Sir CharlesHe’s stupid. That’s all I’ve got to say about that,” Well no matter what Lebron James for the next two seasons will be the hot talk in the NBA.  Clearly James has the big lights of broadway on his mind.  The only way this guy stays in Cleveland if they win a Championship.
