Drop It Like It’s Hot

Wow! What a day for the USA Men’s and Women’s relay team last night. What started off as a fantastic run for both teams, ended in a baton hand-off nightmare. This was the first time in Olypmic history that both teams dropped the baton in a relay race. This happened on the final hand-off for both teams. This nightmare was all to familiar for the Women’s USA relay team, the same thing happen in Athens in 2004. Marion Jones and Lauryn Williams dropped the baton in Athens and Williams did it again this year with Mechelle Lewis. The look on Lewis face after the baton was dropped was a priceless.

A Bolt of Lighting At The Olympics!!!

Usain Bolt

Insaine in the mem brain a classic hip record from the group Cypress Hill. Well your boy was insaine on the track and field and his name Usain Bolt. Bolt has smashed the 100 & 200 meters. Bolt getting two gold metals. Bolt won the 100 meters race in 9.69 seconds and was doing a high step show off to make sure everyone knew he was the best.

“It wasn’t planned,” the newly crowned “World’s Fastest Mam”My aim was to come out and win. When I saw the time, I’m celebrating. I’m happy.” Bolt broke who is own record by 0.3 seconds that he set back in May. Bolt has this to say about setting the world record. (more…)
