Purple Pussycats fire Ron Prince

Written on November 6, 2008 – 6:47 am | by david |

Ron Prince has been fired by Kansas St effective at the end of the season. Prince who took over the KState program after being an assistant coach at Virginia University. He had the unfortunate circumstances of taking over after legendry coach Bill Snyder. Snyder built a program that was one of the worst programs in college football history and made it a respectable program. The Wildcats are 4-5 this season and Prince is 16-18 overall in three seasons. KState gave Prince a five year extension last year. So much for that. This story kinda resembles the one that happened at Nebraska the year before. Two coaches who had their own agendas and tried to change two programs that didn’t need fixed. Josh Freeman was Prince’s biggest recruit who he stole from Nebraska when he became the coach at KState. I have one question. How do you feel Josh? haha
