The Philadelphia Phillies took a 1-0 lead over the Rays last night.  Chase Utley hit a two run homerun in the 1^{st. “Fast} ball in the middle of the plate I was just trying to put the ball into play,” said Chase Utley and Cole Hamles was solid he won his 4^th game of the postseason and continues to be the pitcher in the postseason. Hamels has and ERA of 1.55. Hamlels went 7 innings gave up 2 runs.  The Phillies has history on there side.  The winner of the first game of the World Series who has won game 1 has won 63 of 103 and has won the World Series 5 years in a row who ever wins game 1.  Chase Utley had this to say about the win last night. “I don’t think it threw off our timing too much.  Utley referring to the six day lay off in between the World Series.” I think tomorrow we will be definitely more on track tomorrow.” The Phillies in game 2 look to have Brett Myers try to pick up where Hamels left off.  As for the Rays they will try to even up the series with James Shields.  Let’s see if Longoria,
