Boise St. BCS sleeper
Boise State is ranked number seventeen and on the verge of making a BCS game again. We all remember what they did to Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. Last night they were on ESPN 2 against Louisana Tech and dimantled the Bulldogs. La Tech loves to pass the ball around and have a experience QB in Taylor Bennett who is a transfer from Georgia Tech but they couldn’t get anything going. They got beat down 38 to 3 by a Boise St. defense that is trying to make a name for itself.
This isn’t the Boise St. team that beat Oklahoma with all this offense, they are trying to win with defense. The defense gave up 320 yards total 202 of those yards passing and 118 yards rushing. The Broncos got to Bennett twice has they to the Bulldogs behind the woodshed.
Boise St. hasn’t lost this year and look to have a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way until the final game of the season when they face off against number 22 Fresno St at home. Boise St. defeated number 17 Oregon in Oregon earlier this year so they have played somebody in a BCS conference. So be on the lookout for the Blue Turfed Broncos to make another run toward the BCS.
