The New York Mets did the unthinkable and that blow another September lead.  The Mets had a 3.5 game lead in the N.L.East and still at the end of the season found themselves out of the postseason.  The Mets in the month of September went 7-10 and lost two out of three to the Marlins who bumped them out last season did it again this season. David Wright 3rd basemen of the Mets had this to say.”We failed. We failed as a team “There’s no pointing fingers. There’s no excuses. We as a unit didn’t get the job done.”  The Mets have blown leads all season due to the bullpen.  Look for the Mets to spend a lot of money on bullpen help also go get and outfield bat.
