The Tampa Bay Rays seen there lead in the American League East go down to only 0.5 game last night taking on the Red Sox.  The Red Sox have won 8 in a row before last nights game.  And the Rays who have lost 4 in a row needed a win in the worst way. With the game tied up Dioner Navarro hit a double off the Red Sox closer Paplebon to give the Rays the go ahead lead and win 5-4.  The Rays with the win now lead the American League East at 1.5 games.  Joe Maddon Manager of the Rays had this to say about last nights win.”Sometimes things work out just in your favor, “It’s a pretty significant win, particularly here, what’s been going on [and] where we’re at in the race.”  This is just got to be the Rays year.  No matter who steps in someone always seem to come up with the big hit when it counts.
