Well this game will match two teams that will be looking to get a win and get some momentum going. This wil be the second meeting ever and the Hokies first time to Lincoln. Nebraska won the previous meeting 41 to 21 in the 1996 Orange Bowl Tom Osborne’s next to last year coaching. This game isn’t really being looked at because the Huskers aren’t ranked and are coming off alosing season while Va Tech lost to East Carolina earlier this season and are unranked. Tyrod Taylor got his redshirt removed and looks like he is getting this team headed in the right direction. Nebraska has to be able to contain him because he is really the only offense they have. If the Huskers can do that they should be able to come away with a victory. Now for Nebraska this is their first test of the season as they will see where the defense stands as Bo Pelini should have a good idea after his LSU defense took apart a much better V Tech team last year. If the Big Red can just get the running game going to take some pressure off Joe Ganz then the Huskers should win. Joe Ganz probably one of the most underatted QB’s in the Big 12 will look to also use his versatlilty to put up his numbers.  Nebraska has to get through this game healthy and with a victory as Missouri will be heading to town next week for the Big 12 opener. Nebraska will win 34 to 24.
