DAWGS KEEP BITING- GEORGIA 14 SOUTH CAROLINA 7 !!!

Georgia's first possession got off to a promising start on a 32-yard punt return by running back Knowshon Moreno, his first career punt return.

The Dynamic duo of Matthew Stafford and Knoswshon Moreno willed the Bulldogs to a win yesterday over the ball coach and the South Carolina Gamecocks. Moreno show that he is a CFB player of all trades. Moreno in the 1st half returned a punt for over 20 plus yards. Moreno had 79 rushing yards for 1 touchdown on 20 attempts. Stafford who didn’t have a good day passing. And that was due to horrible recivers for the UGA. But one reciver try to step up for UGA and that was A.J. Green the freshman caught three passes for 61 yards. One pass was for 40 plus by Stafford. Stafford even showed his running skills. Stafford on a fake took off threw the middle and went for 30 plus yards that was set up for a Moreno touchdown. The UGA defense played well they made the ball coach Steve Spurrier look very fustrated. The Gamecocks try there best to go to a two quarterback system. The Gamecocks with Smelley and Garcia try to confuse the UGA defense. But it just didn’t work. Spurrier has still not been able to get the players with the athletic ability to make his system work. Smelley did have a solid game went 23/39 for 271 yards and 1 touchdown and also 1 interception. The UGA defense was happy and proud of there effort against the Gamecocks. Corey Irvin of UGA had this to say.

“That shows us we can play when it’s on the line, “When adversity strikes, who’s going to step up and be the leader, be the man. Our team stepped up today.”

But CFB is a beauty pagent and since the UGA Bulldowgs didn’t blow out the Gamecocks. There is a report that when the AP poll opens up the Bulldogs will be No.3 and Oklahoma Sooners will be No.2. I guess all you can ask for from UGA is just keep winning.
