Cup Cake week in College Football

This must be a fun week to be a TV executive trying to find a game worth televising this week with everybody scheduling their little brother. I think I have found a couple of games that will be of interest. All the major conferences have atleast one team playing somebody from a BCS conference.
Oklahoma vs Cincinnati - Oklahoma will have a tougher challenge this week after taking care of UT-Chatanooga 57-2. Something tells me the score won’t be as bad the Bearcats should score more than 2 points. But this game will turn into a blowout before its said and done. Sam Bradford and Demarco Murray will get their numbers I am just curious to see what their defense does against somewhat of an offense.
East Carolina vs West Virginia- This game really picked up some steam after ECU took down Virginia Tech last weekend in Charlotte. Skip Holtz will have his hands full this week with Pat White and Noel Divine compared to Sean Glennon of Va. Tech. I look for this game to stay close til about the third then West Virginia will poll away and give Bill Stewart a two and zero start.
Oregon St vs Penn St.- This game is an interesting match up I think as I would not have thought of these two ever playing. Oregon State looks to bounce back after a surprising loss to Stanford last Thursday. Don’t look for the number nineteen ranked Joe Pa led Nittany Lions to let the Beavers come into Happy Valley and leave that way. Penn St. is 22-11 alltime versusĀ theĀ Pac 10.
Miami vs Florida- In years past this game would have had more hype probably then next weeks USC vs Ohio St game. But Miami is down and they are starting a new QB this week after I thought Jacory Harris looked good as a true freshman starting his first game. Robert Marve gets the start after a one game suspension. Welcome to college football you get to play your first game in the Swamp. Although Marve is a highly touted quarterback since he broke alot of Tim Tebows’ Florida high school records. Florida will be Florida and just run Miami up and down the field as Miami is too young for this early of a matchup.
