BUTCHER- North Carolina 44 Rutgers 12 !!!

Butch Davis has made his statement last night against the Rutgers Knight, and the statement was North Carolina will be a hard test for anyone who plays them in the ACC. Last Davis North Carolina tore a new one into Rutgers last night. Led by the combination of Sopmore Quarterback T.J. Yates and Senior Wide Reciver Brandon Tate. Yates was 14/22 with 221 yards and three touchdowns. As for Tate 4 receptions for 138 yards with two touchdowns. And one of the touchdowns was a double reverse where Tate ran it in for a touchdown 12 yards away. Brandon Tate had this to say

“You’re going to see a whole lot that’s changed,” said Tate, who caught four passes for a career-best 138 yards. “We could go anywhere and win any game now, so everybody just has to stay focused, stay humble after the win. This win was big, nobody can take us as a joke anymore because we’re gonna come in and play hard.”

This is the best start for the North Carolina team since 2000. With the ACC being so up and down. Who knows maybe Butch Davis and this Carolina team can win the whole ACC.
