  Ok let me get this straight……….Jericho Scott is 9 yrs old and can throw a 40 m.p.h fastball..(about 95+in the M.L.B) his team is 9-0 and now Little League officals have banned the youngster from playing baseball because he is better than his peers?  Now some are saying he is a saftey risk……..let me see here……….Scott has not hit anyone with his pitches.  What kind of a message are we sending?  If he was smarter than his classmates would you kick him out of school?  The parents of the other players are the ones that are fussing the most.  New Haven should be embracing this kid and his god given talent.  What if the High Schools that Kobe and LeBron went to told them they could not play because they were too good?  So what if he is better than the other kids, thats what sports are for the better teams win.  Parents of Little League need to sit down and be quiet and let the kid play.  I can promise you that if this kid was playing in the Little League World Series and the other countries did this they would be up in arms and protesting “childrens rights to play”.  Because he is beating their own kids they have a problem.  This could damage this kids esteem and possibly his future love of baseball because of how his own people are acting.  New Haven you have a phenom on your hands embrace him and groom him to be a good player, not outcast him like he is some kind of village freak.  What kind of society do we live in when a kid is banned for being too good?……………WTF?????????/
