In 2006 Greece shot 63% from the field and defeated the Americans in mens basketball. But this is 2008 and the USA is back showing the world that they are the best in basketball.  The USA took it to Greece 92-69.  Greece in the 1st quarter played the Americans tough.  Getting Jason Kidd in foul trouble with 3 in the very first period. But Chris Bosh and Kobe Bryant was not having none of it.  Bosh scored 18 and 5 rebounds and the USA Mens win. Dwight Howard got into foul troble in the 1st quarter and Bosh came in help take over along with Bryant who was just outstanding on the defensive side of the ball. Greece only shot 41% from the floor and only 22% from three point range. USA shot 53 % and not that great from three point range 7-20 from three point range. Bryant also had 18 who tied for the scoring lead. But another teamate who stepped up Dwayne Wade 17 coming off the bench.  Wade shot 6-10 from the floor and the Americans took off in the second quarter outscoring Greece 31-16. We played like we wanted to win. We played together,” U.S. guard”We were very aware of their offensive sets, we were very aware of their personnel and we played like that. So we were kind of a step in front of what they wanted to do because we kind of knew everything already.”  Dwayne Wade USA Team.    The USA Mens Basketball team is now 3-0 and has Gold on there mind.
