Cubs Prevail 11-7 over Astros

Thanks to Alfonso Soriano and his bat the Cubs come away with an 11-7 win over the pesky Astors. Soriano knocked a three run homerun his 20th on the season in the bottom of the seventh to take a 10-7 lead. Mark Derosa also had a big day going (3 for 5) and adding three RBIs. Reed Johnson, Aramis Ramirez, Derek Lee and Kosuke Fukudome also add RBIs as the Cubs ended Houstons 4 game wining streak. Rich Harden pitched 5 and 2/3 innnings giving up eight hits, two home runs, four earned runs and struck out eight in a no decsion. Bob Howry picked up the win in relief pitching one and a third inning giving up two runs. Kerry Wood is back as he pitched one inning giving up only one hit. The series wraps up today with a 1:20 start on WGN as the Cubs look to take the series 2-1. The Cubs have the best record in the NL and are holding a five game lead over Milawuakee and a five and a half game lead over St. Louis in the NL Central as the Cards head to Chicago for this weekend series.
