Next Stop L.A?……..Maybe
Seems like the all the NFL news was surrounding the alledged return of Brett Farve…..until former first round pick Matt Jones of the Jacksonville Jags was arrested on a drug charge. Next thing we hear is now the owner may want to sell the Jags. Reports are that if the Jags are for sell the next stop will be L.A. This would be a long time coming for the city of Angels. Los Angeles has’nt had a NFL team since the Raiders in the 80’s. I’ve long thought L.A. should have a NFL team, they are a great city with some great sports history. Think of all the Championships L.A holds………Lakers,Raiders,Dodgers,Rams (NFC Conference title),USC, all have Championships in the city. The celeberties all come out and support the teams. Hell they even have a hockey team that one time had the best player to ever lace up a pair of skates Wayne Gretzsky. Why would the Jags move? they have been winning…..in fact they have been to the playoffs 2 years in a row. Problem is the attendance is also one of the lowest in the NFL. This would make a lot of sense anyway, the Dolphins and Buccaneers have championships and then you have SEC football with the Gators. Just not enough support for the Jags. Who know maybe the move is what this team really needs to get over the hump.
